They either tell you everyone has them OR you are delusional and prescribe dangerous antipsychotic drugs This is NOT acceptable doctor after doctor when a person’s life is so disturbed by such an horrendous condition that robs life and sleep. There is nothing to cure, not even daily ivermectin. When a person develops a demodex proliferation, you feel them move on scalp, face, nose, body, genitals and ears when infested. It horrendous causing myself and other to consider suicide when we had very normal lives before and never experienced a depressed day in my life. This condition changes everything about you and we are helpless within the medical community. Personally, I have suffered two years with an over population of demodex. Before this occurred, I never even knew we have them normally because a normal count does not present any problems until there is some immune disorder. HORRIBLE. I think this is mites, bird mites? or some weird thing in the clothing at stores. white floaty things that fly with purpose at times. black dots, black gnats, springtails. Tons of rain, massive amounts of birds - starlings, lots of construction, nothing to eat the insects? No clue but I lose sleep and am ridden with crawling bugs day and night for 6 months now. My mother is on oxygen 24/7 and I'm afraid to visit her because I don't want her to get this. Some relief with tea tree shampoo gentle scrubbing in showers, knit combs with vinegar in hair, shaving, tape lint rollers, vacuuming a lot, baking powder, spraying windows and doors - oil and vinegar helps to see them. Vaseline body dip and rubbing with 1-part vinegar and 2 parts oil. Doc gave me steroid shot, ivermectin for worms in my ankle, hydroxyzine, ryanodine. I took pinworm med and am using athletes foot meds on feet and ankles which helped a lot (ringworm). I think it is mites in the air that get in attic, fireplace, and the dryer since the vents are warm and wet and end up in our clothing. They come in the doors and window cracks to be near the light. Seems better now that it is cooler though I am still losing sleep often. Windex helps, vinegar, borax, baking powder, changing clothes and sheets, bed encasements, Listerine. I don't know. No one seems to know. Doc said I have auto immune disease. I had a nest of worms in my ankle (walking at dog parks in sandals for a year). I rubbed them out after coating self with vasa line and leaving for 20 minutes then rubbing with oil and vinegar. Red dots on stomach, little black dots but not a rash... well the nest on ankle had an oval rash near it. little white bumps appear at times. Not scabies. Doc said it wasn't a parasite. washer is broke, ac broke, toilet broke and I'm broke too.

I broke one open and it turned into a string worm thing. I have been battling this since this last May. And this is stressing me out so bad. I struggle at work with this. I hear them in my ears. I just recently became infected with mites or something. Started as a small coin sized patch over my eye. Has grown and is now all over my face. Biting and stinging on my scalp and body too. Worst at night. Also, particularly bad in the office. I am trying to treat it with natural oils and washing things constantly but i seem to be losing the battle. I went to an eye clinic a few times when it started but they were no help. Would not prescribe anything and said its some kind of dermatitis but no idea how it came to be or how to fix it. They suggested Vaseline which did nothing but moisten the skin. Cost me over 500 for that advice although they did confirm it was not glaucoma or eyeball cancer.

This 'real' NOT imagined disease or disorder is one I have been suffering with for almost 1 year. It seems to be caused by a dust mite. Only remedies to help with symptoms (such as itching primarily on head, face, neck and feet), crawling, burning, biting sensations are: enzyme cleaners sold online 2 spray daily on bedding & home & office furniture, in cars, on any surface that seem to be infested or aggravate the symptoms of itching, crawling, biting, etc. I also spray it in my head, body for relief, BUT check with manufacturer for safety first. The online enzyme product I use is safe on body & items. In addition, spray floors & other surfaces of home, car, office with enzyme product AND actual 'Windex' original blue spray, which seems to help with cleaning & killing the dust mite. Daily body & hair wash treatments with tea tree oil infused body washes. If possible, wash bedding daily using hot water & high temps in dryer. Vacuumed furniture/bedding infected (AFTER spraying with online enzyme spray) daily or several times per week and also floors, especially under the couch, tables, etc. Spray walls, in/under cabinets that seem to promote your symptoms. If you cannot wash bedding daily shake out all bedding/pillows daily (ONLY outside) before and after spraying with enzyme spray. Others suffering recommend (but I have not used is) Borax. Remember this will be a daily struggle, for how long I cannot properly answer. Do not be turned away by medical people who try to tell you, basically you are crazy or just imagining all of this. You ARE NOT, they need mental help NOT you. But there is no easy fix or cure at this time. I hope that this info. will provide symptom relief and a good starting point for much needed research into the cause, effects and treatments of this disorder.

I can not say this with certainty, but I believe that the powers that be know all about this affliction. I contacted the CDC and got the name of a doctor they recommended locally. The fellow I spoke to at the "CDC" confided in me that he was merely an "answering service". When I contacted the doctor that the guy (at CDC) recommended, my primary doctors office was instructed by that doctor, to send my records to his office ahead of my actual visit. My primary doctor caught wind of the request for records and then got in contact with that doctor telling him that I, the afflicted patient, did not need to be seen by the CDC recommended doctor. Next, I got a letter from the CDC recommended doctor notifying me that they did not treat "mental disorders" and only treated Infectious Disease. So, you can only guess what my primary care doctor must have been saying behind my back. My Primary care doctor never owned up to doing that, either. However, I have never been diagnosed with a mental illness. never owned up to doing In fact, my primary care doctor blamed one of the other doctors I chose for "diagnosing" me with the "mental illness" (but no record and no treatment of such an illness exists). Yet, the doctor that he blamed never even hinted at a mental disorder in his report. The doctor being blamed clearly stated that "I am unsure exactly what the causation is", and then he stated that my primary care doctor had made conversation to him about a "mental disorder". After I explained to that doctor what was going on, he said "Go back to your primary care doctor, we are done". He wanted no further part of this little "game" once he knew the facts. So you see, there is this little game going on here. Some doctors seemingly are trying to give the afflicted person the run around. For what reason, I am not exactly sure. I do know that everything that I have described in my statement is true and I have the evidence to prove what I stated. I am a former law enforcement officer. As such, I treated this exactly as I would have an investigation while collecting the office visit reports, and their coinciding tape recordings. I "dotted all of the I's and crossed all of the T's" before informing the doctors large health care employer of his strange and unethical (if not illegal) behavior. However, that was to no avail. (See my previous 2 posts, below.) So, I am led to believe that there is possibly some thwarting going on here. If not an actual cover up. Could it be that there would be a lot of political fallout and implications if the source of this affliction came to be known? Maybe, as in, it originates from a foreign country, and has done so through immigration (immigrants). Legal or not. Imagine what would happen politically if the originating source was determined to come from outside of the United States, and from say, refugees or undocumented workers. Vectors coming in and spreading a third world disease. There is a lot to consider here folks. My doctor was willing to outright lie and jeopardize his many years of schooling and hard work. I believe that he knew nothing would be done about it. As in, he'd get a complete pass,... and he did receive such a pass. Chime in and tell the rest of us your experience, please.

It is here in Missouri. I have had it for 2 years. I think they know it is here. My doctor got caught lying (by me) in his medical reports. I think he was lying in order to simply create a different "reality" of what was happening in our office visits. I got the office visit reports and noticed all of the lies. So I then tape recorded my office visits and compared the tapes to his reports. They did not match up. Why would he need to lie? I informed the large health care agency that employs him (of his lies)...and they promptly banned me from ALL of their many facilities and every single physician (thousands). Simply for having tangible proof of the doctor lying. They did that, rather than listen to the tapes and compare them to his written, entirely made up accounts of the office visits. My boyfriend and I have had bird mites almost a year now. So many people are suffering out there and it makes me so sad when I read these stories. We left everything behind (Denton, Texas) and went out into the world, changing hotels every day so not to infest any place. We brought nothing with us and bought different clothes every day (from thrift store, washed them before wearing them). We thought initially that it would take a couple weeks to get rid of them once we were out of the house that was infested, but we were very wrong. It has now been 8 months, we have tried almost everything out there that other people have used to get these out of us but these things are very strong and become immune to things very fast and reproduce like crazy. That is right all you close minded doctors and entomologist, these things were reproducing off of our blood, how else would they stay with us for 8 months after leaving the infested place. It is as if doctors and entomologist don't believe that there is anything new to discover in this world, wow, now that is true ignorance! There is a yahoo site all of you out there can join to email or talk to other people who have gone thru this or are going thru right now. It have been extremely helpful to me and my boyfriend, there are people on this site that have actually beat these things. Whatever this problem is, is a nightmare. It has been a living hell for me and my husband and my 2 kids. My husband fortunately the only one not affected has watched me live being tortured by this on a daily basis. We have made huge progress, as I was so sick and my mental clarity was so bad, and I could barley get out of bed. This was like dealing with something out of a science fiction book. We fell behind on our rent and bills because I was unable to work and we're eventually evicted from our home as our landlord did not know what to think of our problems. And I can't say I don't blame her. Im young, and i feel so old a decrepit, I've gained 20 lbs out of no where, brain fog is unreal, arthritis has set in all over my body, I've never had a cavity in my whole 25 years, but within the past year my teeth have taken a turn for the worst, depression so bad I can't even leave my house, this is all just a small portion of my symptoms and problems. This is all so unreal and a huge problem that I think someone knows a little bit more about. Someone has maybe made a mistake? ??? We need to figure this out. The healing has been a slow and painful process but we are getting better and stronger one day at a time. Something needs to be done about this!

I started this once and it disappeared. I am 70 years old and have been fighting these bites for over a year. Sadly, my indoor cats have this now as well. I have seen every doctor, CU Infectious Disease Center, contacted CDC, Dermatologists, PCP and so on. One Dermatologist tried different ointments, creams, and pills, a chest x-ray and so on. She at least tried, the others did not. I was told by the others that I am Delusional. They did not really check me or my specimens said it was nice meeting me. The mysterious bugs have left marks on me, some I picked and made it worse. I am smoking more than ever due to the anxiety and depression this is causing. It has changed my life totally. I have these in my apartment and in my car, and again, on my cats. I can only go out a little, I am humiliated. CDC said they could not help me, maybe if I had a letter from the doctor. No one knows what this is an and I have seen some horror stories online. every time you go to the doctor they ask if I have been in other countries. No, I say. Then I think how many are in our country that may bring these things in to our. Right where I live there is about 50% or more from Mexico, Peru, Africa, Nigeria, and more. Most are hard working, but I think how they also bring their families later. What kind of bugs are they bringing here. What I have are mostly, small and opaque, sometimes tan, and sometimes look like a microscopic worm. When they bite, they bite hard. I know I do not want to die yet, on the other hand, a person cannot live like this. I have little income so if I get rid of everything I have no way of replacing it. I have to go to a Laundromat since we have none in the apartments. It is hard on me and I seem to have lost faith, too tired to do anything anymore. I am almost certain I do not have Morgellons but not certain. I thought it was bird mites from the Swallows here but then after reading so much, I have no idea. I know I cannot get rid of them. I have given up. I think they should never have done away with DDT, as much I hate to say that. I for natural things, but the bugs exist beause we do not fight them. Now, with a weakened immune system from two surgeries, I am infested, as is everything I own. And, no one cares and if you tell anyone, they are squeamish. I am going on year tbree. I have been seen by many doctors at the VA, and trust THEY KNOW THIS IS CONTAGIOUS, IT'S SPREADING, AND DEADLY. I was not afforded to see any medical doctor ONLY THE SHRINK, who gave the order for Thorozine to be administrated then was spoke to like a child, them screamed at by the Shrink SPREADING it all in your head. But won't touch me or get near me by at least 10 feet. VA campus police were dispatched, I was doped up from the ER Thorozine shot. VA campus police would not get near me but ORDERED me to my car and to "DRIVE OFF CAMPUS AND NOT RETURN THAT EVENING" I honestly believe that the GOVT knows fully as to this parasitic problem. I also think this is in the food chain noting recent dinner and lunch outing and finding the bugs and or worms or what ever you want to call them in the prepared food straight from a commercial kitchen. DEAD they seemed to be but no less they are in the food. They are all over my house I clean and clean even have found them in water public fountain drains and yes even my own drains at home. This is a major issue with a HUGE PRICE TAG so GREED does best to serve itself and ignores the issue.
